Our Transparency Report 2025
In our new Transparency Report for the year 2025, as a civil search and rescue organisation, we are providing an overview of our activities, achievements and challenges over the past year.
After the federal government under Friedrich Merz completely cancelled state funding for civil search and rescue operations in the spring of 2025, financing rescue operations became one of our major challenges. Thanks to civil society and our dedicated funding partners, all planned missions with Humanity 1 were carried out in 2025, and 1,156 people were rescued across seven missions.
