Protest with us on Thursday, 18 January against the controversial “Repatriation Improvement Act” and the amendment to the Residence Act it contains. We call on all members of the Bundestag to vote against the fatal amendment at the second reading on Thursday, which criminalises humanitarian aid, tightens deportation measures and massively restricts the rights of people seeking protection.

When?

18 January 2024, 10 a.m.

Where?

In front of the Bundestag (Reichstag building), Platz der Republik 1, 10557 Berlin

Flight and solidarity with people on the move must not be a criminal offence! But with paragraph 96, supporters at land borders face up to 10 years in prison if they distribute food or save someone from freezing to death, for example.

Come to our joint protest action “No imprisonment for solidarity with people on the run!” organised by SOS Humanity, Sea-Watch, United4Rescue, LeaveNoOneBehind, Seebrücke, Blindspots, Frach Collective, Medical Volunteers International, ROSA Rolling Safe Space and Sea-Eye on Thursday morning! Bring your own poster – or use our protest-o-mat!
