Before returning to the operational area, the crew practised the various manoeuvres they can use to respond to an emergency at sea. Humanity 1 was back in the operational area on 23 March 2025 and started looking for boats in distress.

All 88 survivors could finally go ashore in Genoa, Italy, after their dangerous flight and a long crossing after being rescued.
